This training is designed to promote understanding of the importance of serving breakfast in a child care program.

The goals of this training are:

• Understanding the components of a good breakfast
• Outlining the physical and intellectual advantages a child gains when served a good breakfast
• Highlight the impact an adult's example can have on a child's attitude towards breakfast
• Fun food activities and recipes ideas to make breakfast both nutritious and fun.

This training has been designed to qualify for credit towards nutrition training for providers enrolled in the USDA Food Program.
